Jason
Jason Sedawie is a South Florida based composer, engineer and producer. Jason’s first step towards musical expression were guitar lessons at the age of ten. As a teenager Jason played in several South Florida bands, he also began experimenting with his first four-track recorder and 8-track reel to reel. By the age of 22 Jason built out his first project studio in the garage of his Tallahassee home, complete with a control room, live room, and vocal booth. He soon went on to study Classical Guitar Performance and Music Theory at Florida State University. Jason eventually transfered to Loyola University’s College of Music and Fine Arts in New Orleans, LA where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Composition. A passionate supporter of all music genres, Jason has experience in all factions of music ranging from rock, blues, jazz, second line, fusion, metal, hardcore, ska, hip hop, R&B, classical, and film music.
Musically, he is known for blending elements from many different genres of music and combining them to create a fresh new method to songwriting and production. His openminded approach has earned him credits with such clients as The Double Deckers, B.O.C., Hard Hitters, (Damn) This Desert Air, Digicide, Failure Tribute and the upcoming Hum Tribute.
In 2009, Jason became an associate staff member with MBRS. Jason and his engineering and production team are responsible for the expansion and upgrading of MBRS’s now fully operational studio C.
